Paying tribute: UoP bids farewell to retiring employees
It was pledged that the services of the members will be remembered for years to come

University of Peshawar bid farewell to its retiring faculty members and administrative officers at a ceremony held at the varsity’s guest house on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Jan said the services rendered by the retiring members of the University of Peshawar family will be remembered for years to come. Mentioning Numerical and Physical Sciences former dean Dr Gulzar Ali Khan, Dr Amir Khan, Gul Hameed and others, the vice chancellor said several of the varsity’s most experienced employees left the university in 2015. “Filling the gap left by them is an arduous task,” he said, adding they will be requested to train junior employees in University of Peshawar’s values and traditions.
