Consumer Court: Notice issued over extra PVC sheet
The court instructed Iqbal to pay him Rs100,000 for damages

A consumer court issued a notice to a proprietor on Tuesday in a suit seeking Rs100,000 damages for not accepting back a superfluous polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sheet. Petitioner Waseem Irshad told the court that he had purchased made-in-China PVC sheets from M/S Manzoor Sons Bedian Road. He said proprietor Mian Zafar Iqbal had promised to supply the sheets at Rs8 per square foot but later demanded payment of Rs10 per square foot. He asked the court to instruct Iqbal to pay him Rs100,000 damages for reneging on his commitments.
