Land use violations: CDA seals five businesses in F-6, F-7

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Monday took action against violators of its bylaws and sealed five residential units which were being used for commercial purposes. 


The authority’s enforcement wing and building control section teams were assisted by the Islamabad Police during the operation.

Houses which were sealed include house 1 in street 27, Sector F-6 and house 39 on College Road. House 3 on School Road in F-6/1 was also sealed. It was being used as a showroom named LABELS.


Similarly, house 34 on School Road in F-6/3, otherwise known as the famous French restaurant Luna Caprese, was also sealed.

A beauty saloon named Beauty Hut, in house 39 on Bhitai Road in F-7, was also sealed. However, it was de-sealed after the owner got stay orders from a court.

CDA enforcement directorate also demolished an illegally constructed boundary wall in Sector G-9 and also confiscated three trucks of material removed from encroached upon areas.

CDA Member Administration Amer Ali Ahmed has directed officials to pursue cases against violators in courts for early vacation of stay orders.
