LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge sought comments from the Kahna SHO on Friday on a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against a brick kiln owner for holding some of his relatives hostage. Petitioner Muhammad Boota said his niece Rabia Bibi had started working for Muhammad Mushtaq. He said she had taken some money in advance and worked for Mushtaq for three years to pay back. He said a few days ago she had gone seeing her relatives when Mushtaq and some other people caught her along with some other people and locked them. He said Mushtaq was demanding Rs50,000 for their release. Boota said he had requested the SHO to take action against Mushtaq but he did not do so. He requested the court to order the SHO to register an FIR against Mushtaq.
