Orderly room: Four SHOs dismissed
Ashraf said competent officials would be commended while those guilty of delinquency would be punished.
LAHORE:
Operations DIG Haider Ashraf on Thursday dismissed four SHOs and took action against 29 other officials for misusing authority, failing to ensure timely registration of cases, being absent from duty and not effectively discharging their duties. Ashraf, who was chairing an orderly room, said there was no room for delinquent, lazy and irresponsible officials in the department. He said no official should harbour the misconception that they would be able to get away scot-free after abusing authority and indulging in other illegal activities. Ashraf said competent officials would be commended while those guilty of delinquency would be punished.
