No Delivery: Rs200,000 suit on printing company

A consumer court issued the proprietor of Amin Printers and Packages a notice in a suit seeking Rs200,000 as damages for allegedly not preparing 500 printed boxes. Waqas Ahmed, head of an NGO, said he had placed an order for 500 printed lunch boxes with Muhammad Amin. He said that he had paid Rs5,000 in advance while the rest of the amount, Rs2,500, was to be paid when the boxes were delivered. He said that neither had the respondent prepared the boxes nor had he returned the advance money Ahmed had paid him. Ahmed requested the court to direct the respondent to pay him Rs200,000 as damages.
