ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Administration has imposed fines amounting Rs230,000 on shops and businesses for violating the Shops and Security Ordinance, not making firefighting arrangements, and paying lower wages to workers than determined by the law.

Assistant Commissioner (AC) Secretariat Waqas Rashid also sealed the Murree Toll Plaza near Bhara Kahu for poor firefighting arrangements and imposed a fine of Rs30,000.


The AC also imposed a fine of Rs150,000 on two marriage halls, Majestic Banquette and Embassy Lodge, for violating the marriage ordinance and for paying lower wages to workers.
