Education: Intermediate exams from 7th
The board said 156,305 candidates would take the exam at 490 examination centres.

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) announced on Monday that intermediate part II annual examination, 2015, would start from May 7. The board said 156,305 candidates would take the exam at 490 examination centres. Of the 490 centres, 308 have been set up in Lahore, 36 in greater Lahore, 65 in Kasur, 28 in Nankana Sahib and 53 in Sheikhpura. Roll number slips have been dispatched to students and are also available on the board’s website. According to a BISE statement, 300 students have been declared ineligible to appear in the exams because they had had appeared in last year’s annual examinations. The statement says a candidate who has appeared in both part 1 and part 2 examinations cannot appear in a single part in a later annual examination. The candidates have been informed about their eligibility through SMS, the board said.
