Saving the ecosystem: IGI to organise beach cleaning event

KARACHI: Marine life is under threat from the waste in our seas with hundreds of species accidentally eating or becoming entangled in litter. IGI Life Insurance is organising a beach cleaning event to mark Insurance Day on May 6 with its staff acting as ‘beach keepers’. The team will collect debris along a kilometre of Karachi’s coastline to prevent the effects of water pollution.
