Slipped through: Man escapes from BMP custody
Bajrani and Baksh were arrested immediately and an inquiry against them had been launched.

Two Border Military Police (BMP) officials were arrested and three others suspended after a man fled from their custody on Friday, a few hours after he was arrested from Fort Munro.
BMP Commandant Shahid Mehboob said Muhammad Ayub had been arrested during the anti-encroachment drive in Fort Munro and taken to Sakhi Sarwar police station. He said Ayub’s uncle Zaffar Bajrani was a BMP official and asked Muhammad Baksh, the official on duty, to see him. He said Bajrani then asked to sit with Ayub outside the jail. He said Baksh allowed it. He said a car had been waiting to take Ayub away when he stepped outside. He said Baksh informed superiors when Ayub fled.
