The Capital Development Authority imposed fines on 71 shopkeepers and restaurants selling unhygienic or adulterated food last month.
Two restaurants were partially sealed and 14 litres of expired and non-branded ketchup, 52 litres of substandard soft drinks and 45 packs of gutka were confiscated and destroyed.
