UNHCR: Water supply, education projects ready

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has completed two uplift projects worth billions of rupees in Balochistan. A development scheme worth Rs26.94 million was launched in 2014 which was completed lately under the supervision of Tameer-e-Khalq Foundation. The other project of worth Rs45.83 million was launched to improve the water and sanitation facility in Chaman town implemented by WESS. Addressing the concluding ceremony, UNHCR head in Balochistan said that the refugee agency always enjoyed the robust support of Balochistan’s local government. “Literacy for our elder citizen of Balochistan and education for our children are the only hope for our brighter future.”
