Revival of cricket: ‘Zimbabwe to be provided security’
The government would do its best to provide a conducive environment to foreign teams.

Chief Secretary Khizar Hayat Gondal chaired a meeting on Thursday to review arrangements for the upcoming tour of Zimbabwe cricket team. Gondal ordered that special counters be set up at the Gaddafi Stadium to facilitate spectators. He said the government would do its best to provide a conducive environment to foreign teams. He said the visiting team would be provided foolproof security. “Zimbabwe team’s visit is of key importance for the revival of international cricket in Pakistan.” PCB Chairman Sheharyar Khan, MPA Rana Sanaullah, the IGP, the home secretary, the sports secretary, the commissioner and the Lahore DCO attended the meeting.
