Deadly weather: Two killed by lightning
Both were working on the fields before being struck by lightening
GUJRANAWALA:
Two people died on Thursday after being struck by lightning.
In Kot Proia near Ahmadpur Chattha, 14-year-old Alishma and her nine-year-old sister Reshma were visiting the fields where they were hit by a lightning strike. Alishma sustained serious injuries, while Reshma received minor burns. Alishma died on her way to hospital. In Mangowal, Muhammad Akram was working in his fields when he was hit by lightning. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
