Mishaps: 13 injured in AJK road accidents

A passenger van collided with a car coming from the opposite direction

MUZAFFARABAD:
At least 13 people were injured in different road accidents across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Thursday. According to the police, a passenger van collided with a car coming from the opposite directed near Chatarpari area of Mirpur, injuring 11 passengers. The police shifted the injured of the two vehicles to Mirpur district hospital, where the doctors said that five of them, including a woman, are in critical condition. A motorcyclist was injured separately when his bike was hit by a speeding bus on Allama Iqbal Road in Mirpur. Zaheer Ishfaq was admitted in the Mirpur hospital where doctors said his condition was stable. Another motorcyclist was injured when a speeding car hit his bike in Bhimber city. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors said that his condition is stable.
