Asian Snooker Championship: Pakistani cueist Hamza beats Indian Advani in the final
The winner bagged the trophy with a 7-6 win in the best-of-15 frames match

Pakistani cueist Hamza Akbar beat Indian opponent Pankaj Advani 7-6 to claim the trophy of the Asian Snooker Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Thursday.
Hamza, playing in his first international event, became the second Pakistani to win the title after Muhammad Yousuf won it in 1998.
Earlier, Hamza beat Malaysian opponent Mohammed Reza to become only the third Pakistan to make it to the Asian event final.
