Vigil In Ajk: Nepal quake victims remembered

Members of the public and government officials on Monday held a candle light vigil at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat in Muzaffarabad for victims of the Nepal earthquake. “We want to express solidarity with the people of Nepal who are in the toughest hour of their history. Our hearts go out to the affected families. Having suffered the 2005 earthquake, we can understand and share their suffering,” said Shaukat Javaid, media adviser to prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The speakers said Nepalese should not lose heart as this calamity will give birth to a modern and stronger Nepal. The gathering also said a prayer for the victims of recent rains in Peshawar and Charsadda.
