4 killed, 18 injured in Sibi blast
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack
At least four people were killed and 18 others injured when a bomb planted on a motorcycle exploded at Chakar Khan Road in Sibi on Sunday morning.
Senior police official Ghulam Ali Baloch, who gave the casualty toll, said two of the injured are in critical condition.
“We are investigating the possible targets but we have not found any specific target yet," Baloch said.
“The bomb was planted in a motorcycle and parked beside the road near vegetable market,” an official at Sibi Police Station told The Express Tribune.
A resident of Sibi, Mohammed Saleem said, “People were buying the vegetables when the blast occurred.”
The deceased and injured were taken to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Sibi for treatment.
