Welcoming Saudi Arabia’s announcement to end air strike against Houthis in Yemen, former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday said that every Muslim is ready to sacrifice his life for the sake of holy places in Saudi Arabia.
The former president was accompanied by Yousaf Raza Gilani, Rehman Malik and PPP Senator Sehr Kamran. The Saudi acting ambassador thanked the people of Pakistan for their support to Riyadh. Later, talking to the media Jassim M al Khalid said that Riyadh is expecting Pakistan to join the coalition against the rebels in Yemen. “They (Houthis) have illegally attacked a legitimate government in the country.”

He expressed these views while calling on the Saudi embassy chargé d’affaires Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Khalidi to express his solidarity with the government of Saudi Arabia over Yemen issue.
