Interrogation: Remand extended for murder accused

LAHORE:
An anti-terrorism court on Wednesday extended physical remand of a man, accused of murdering an employee of the Lahore Electric Supply Company, for five days. Police brought Asif alias Achhi Malang before the court and asked ATC-III Judge Haroon Latif to extend the suspect’s physical remand for five says so they could further interrogate him. The court granted the request and directed police to produce Asif in court on April 26. Asif had been illegally using a government office in Baghbanpura as his residence. On April 13, Asif allegedly killed Muhammad Mansha, a LESCO employee and injured two others.
