Harry Styles might be next to leave One Direction
This boy band might not remain together for long, next in line to quit the band is rumoured to be Harry Styles
It’s been a hard hit for 1D fans after Zayn Malik’s departure from the boy band, but Harry Styles might have been affected the most. Rumour has it that the One Direction member will be next to part ways with the group.
It has barely been a month since Zayn decided to quit 1D, after apologising to his fans and band members. Although he knew that wasn’t the end of their friendship. “I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world,” he had said.
But seems like the band hasn't fully recovered after Zayn's exit. According to The Mirror, Harry is having difficulties coping with Zayn’s sudden departure and is thinking of following in the former 1D’s footsteps. He broke down in tears on stage hours after Zayn had announced his departure and sources say that Harry has still not adjusted to the four-member group. One Direction's filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, who directed the band's One Direction: This Is Us documentary, believes that the band might stay together “for a little while” but will soon disperse.
"Obviously they already have [survived]. I think they'll stay together for a little while, for a little bit longer and then at some point Harry will leave he'll be next…” predicted the director. “Then I think Niall [Horan] and Louis [Tomlinson] and Liam [Payne], I think the three of those guys will become the new Bell Biv DeVoe [a 1990s group formed of the three remaining members of New Edition]."
How this will affect the One Direction members and their future is yet to be determined, but Simon Cowell might not take the news so well. After Zayn’s exit he took to Twitter to show his support for the band and still had faith in them:
