Heritage day: Walk arranged at Shalimar Gardens
Maqsood and Tanveer spoke about various heritage sites

A ceremony was arranged at Shalimar Gardens on Saturday to celebrate the World Heritage Day. Government College University Vice Chancellor Khaliqur Rehman was the chief guest and Archaeology Department Director Malik Maqsood and Deputy Director Salman Tanveer the guests of honour. Maqsood and Tanveer spoke about various heritage sites, including Shalimar Gardens and Lahore Fort which have been added to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation’s list of world heritage sites.
