A Karachi-bound flight of Shaheen Air made an emergency landing
ISLAMABAD:
A Karachi-bound flight of Shaheen Air made an emergency landing at Benazir Bhutto International Airport on Tuesday after one of its engines caught fire soon after take-off. A CAA spokesperson said the Boeing 737 flight NL-122 took off at 10:31am but the pilot reported fire in engine no 1 at 10:36am. The plane safely landed at the airport at 10:43am and was toed to the parking bay for check-up. There were 174 passengers on board.
