Family feud: Man killed
The police are looking for the suspects.
A carpenter was killed and his assistant injured in Khanna Pul area over a family feud, said a media report on Tuesday.
Muhammad Aslam, 50, and his assistant, Muhammad Nisar, 35, were at their shop near Zia Masjid when two armed motorcyclist opened fire on them and fled. They were taken to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where Aslam was pronounced dead and Nisar was stated to be in critical condition. The suspected murderers have been identified as Aqeel and Wasim, the police said, adding that a family feud was the motive behind Aslam’s murder.
The police are looking for the suspects.
