Pakistan have a busy summer ahead of them as the team is expected to host Zimbabwe in May and then fly to Sri Lanka for a tour.

According to ESPNCricinfo, the men in green will have a lengthy tour, consisting of three Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is.

The initial tour itinerary suggests that Pakistan will start their stint in Sri Lanka on June 11 with a three-day practice match and will finish with the T20 series on August 1.

This tour will be the sixth bilateral encounter between the two teams in as many years. They played three Tests in the UAE in 2014 before Pakistan’s mid-year tour of Sri Lanka, which comprised of two Tests and three ODIs.

Pakistan are currently playing in Bangladesh and will return home on May 12.

Then they are expected to play either a five-match ODI series or three one-dayers and two T20Is against Zimbabwe from mid-May.
