PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2015: Red Carpet
Here are the looks we thought were worth mentioning — for good reasons and bad
While some luminaries flashed plenty of glamour and style at the star-studded event, other celebrities tripped up by being overzealous with their ensembles and atrocious accessories. Here are the looks we thought were worth mentioning — for good reasons and bad.
Best dressed Mehreen Syed
Hair and make-up
The supermodel had her stunning locks recently tinted in deep auburn and styled in loose curls.
Flaunting her perfect complexion, Mehreen sported a nude pink glossy lipstick, jet winged eye liner and a peachy flushed cheek enhanced with a dash of bronzer.
Outfit
Channelling a free-spirited persona, the model rocked a brilliantly chic ensemble comprising a black mesh unfastened crop top teamed with a profoundly patterned floor-kissing high-waisted skirt. Mehreen showcased the unfussy style with femininity and grace.
Accessories
The star coupled her self-effacing ensemble with very little accessories. Polishing up her look with an ivory manicure and a slick watch, Mehreen emitted an effortlessly corporeal vibe. With that megawatt smile, we didn’t require much else.
Worst dressed Meesha Shafi
Hair and make-up
The ‘Bijli’ singer seemed to have suffered from power failure hitting the red carpet. The star looked washed out and pale plus the sans eye-makeup look didn’t quite do her any favours. Her thick mane was kept out of the way with wispy curls framing her face — fashion faux pas! We loved the bold ruby lip though.
Outfit
The star tried to make an impression with the Muse ensemble but didn’t quite hit bull’s eye. Meesha wore an ashen-white jumpsuit featuring a tie-on at the hip and added an uncalled for floor-skimming ivory and gold net-chiffon cape jacket. The jumpsuit on its own would’ve shone more minus the needless layering.
Accessories
Meesha accessorised with a chunky and tacky-looking neutral-toned stone choker that took away from her slender neck. She kept the bling factor to an absolute minimum by carrying an elegant clutch. Her shoes on the other hand, were catastrophic — an outdated pair of muted gold, peep-toe, cut-out heels.
