LAHORE: Punjab Education Foundation Director (Monitoring) Samina Nawaz was on Monday directed to hold a departmental inquiry into a news report about an incident of corporal punishment in a PEF partner school in Layyah. PEF Managing Director Aneela Salman, who had taken notice of the report and directed Nawaz to hold the inquiry, said the PEF was committed to enforcement of a ban on corporal punishment of children.
