Preparations: ROs to receive ballot papers today

Cantonment elections’ returning officers across the province will receive ballot papers on Tuesday (today).
The provincial election commissioner will also visit all polling stations and oversee preparations. The papers were sent to Peshawar, Nowshera, Cherat, Risalpur, Mardan, Kohat, DI Khan, Bannu, Havelian and Abbottabad under the supervision of security forces. Training of polling staff has also been completed.
Talking to The Express Tribune, a Peshawar cantonment official said April 23 is the election campaign deadline after which presiding officers will take control of the polling stations, adding security officials will also be deployed in different areas.
