Fresh Peak: Gold prices cross Rs39,000 mark
Gold prices rise by Rs664 to reach fresh peak of Rs39,064 per 10 grams.

Gold prices rose by Rs664 to reach a fresh peak of Rs39,064 per 10 grams on Tuesday, supported by the international bullion market where prices also hit an all-time high.
The yellow metal was valued at Rs45,575 per tola (11.7 grams).
All Pakistan Supreme Council of Jewellers Association President Haroon Chand said unlike Pakistan, all over the world investors were buying gold. “People in Pakistan are shying away from purchasing the precious metal because of its spiralling prices as they do not have the purchasing power.”
