Zara Shaikh | 8 years ago | Reply Masood Sahab as he’s profoundly know as, first time I met him was when I was called in for an interview at Dawn. He told me that his experience at Newspaper was more than my age and its truly felt that I met a maestro that day. Fortunately I was hired to be part of his Dawn Marketing team.I sat right next to his office with a windowed wall between us. Every time I would turn my head I could see him inside always busy doing something or the other, always happy, mostly laughing, generally jovial. Many times I ran errands for him, he made sure when he traveled abroad he would take a bit of Pakistan along, to share with his foreign associates. Today, it hard for me to come to terms that he’s no more. His voice echoes in my head (he relatively had a loud pitch). But he was gentle, polished and outstanding. Its beyond belief that someone could actually kill a person as him in cold blooded murder. I am deeply sorry for the loss to the family and to the Dawn team. May Allah pave the path easier for the deceased and give strength & courage to the family & his colleagues. RIP Masood Sahab. Truly cherished, always will be remembered.
