Hunger Strike: STP protests ‘anti-Sindh’ projects
He demanded the immediate shelving of these projects.
SUKKUR:
Sindh Taraqi Pasand Party (STP) workers observed a token hunger strike outside the Mirpur Mathelo press club on Saturday, shouting slogans against what they termed the ‘anti-Sindh’ projects. They claimed that Zulfikarabad and Bahria Town were ‘anti-Sindh’ projects, aiming to turn Sindhis into a minority in their own province. “The government has condemnably sold off the land of Sindh for the construction of Zulfikarabad and Bahria Town,” said Zahid Mirani. “Well-off people from other provinces and even other countries will be sold plots here, making them no-go areas for Sindhis.” He demanded the immediate shelving of these projects.
