Tick Tock: Shop owner sued over ‘defective’ clock
He said Waheed had given him a one-week warrantee

A consumer court issued a notice to a proprietor of a shop on Saturday over a Rs100,000 suit filed against him. Muhammad Sarwar told the court he had purchased a clock for Rs300 from Muhammad Waheed of Bismillah General Store, Shahdara. He said Waheed had given him a one-week warrantee. He said the clock had later stopped working and Waheed had refused to replace it or return the money. He asked for Rs100,000 in damages.
