Exam stress: Ninth grader commits suicide

Student fails to attempt all questions on chemistry paper; disheartened by performance hangs himself from tree

ABBOTTABAD: A student of ninth grade committed suicide in Banda Phagwariyan village. Police quoted Muhammad Fayaz as saying his son Hammad failed to attempt all questions on his chemistry paper. Disheartened by his performance, he hanged himself from the tree in their courtyard while the family was having lunch. He was rushed to the hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead.
