Speakers have urged the youth to refuse and resist the influence of drugs and have a meaningful and productive life. They were speaking at a youth convention arranged by the anti-narcotics force (ANF) at Ayub National Park in Rawalpindi on Thursday. The event marked the first ever convention to take the youth on board as part of an anti-drug drive to get the society rid of the menace of drugs. The participants highlighted the hazards of drugs and drug challenges to youth. They said that peer pressure was the main cause of drug addiction amongst the youth. A large number of health experts, media persons and students attended the convention aimed at motivating the youth to join hands with the ANF to create a drug-free society.
