LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday sought comments from the Factory Area SHO on a petition filed by a pir seeking a case against his mureed for looting him.

Petitioner Nazir Ahmed submitted that he had received a phone call from Shehzad Shah who claimed that he was his follower. He said Shah told him that a woman needed his help on some family issues. He said he had asked Shah to ask the woman to meet him.

Nazir said after a while he had again received a call from Shah who requested him to pick the woman from a specified place. He said they acquired his signature at gunpoint on a cheque book soon after he had picked them on his car. He said they had later fled leaving him in the field.

He said he had requested Factory Area police to take action against them but they did not. He requested the court to direct the SHO to register a case against them.
