Additional Sessions Judge Javaid Iqbal Sheikh on Tuesday sentenced a man to death for murdering three people.
According to Batala Colony police, Waqas Javaid, a resident of Khayaban Colony No 2, had married Faiza in 2010. “The couple had a daughter. Soon afterwards, they started having arguments. On November 17, 2011, Faiza went to her parents’ house after quarreling with her husband. Javaid followed her there. He tried to persuade her to go back with him. When Faiza refused, Waqas shot her, their one-month-old daughter and his brother-in-law,” police said.
