Released: Trader returns from Afghanistan
Kidnappers from Afghanistan, mostly militants, are kidnapping people from Peshawar for ransom
PESHAWAR:
A Garhi Qamardin resident, who was abducted six months ago and taken to Afghanistan, managed to reach home safely.
Talking to The Express Tribune, a local said Rahat, a trader, was kidnapped by Afghan militants and taken to the neighbouring country. “We have been told that Afghan security forces raided their hideout in Afghanistan and secured his release,” the local said.
He added the man returned home safely to the delight of his family who are celebrating his return. Kidnappers from Afghanistan, mostly militants, are kidnapping people from Peshawar for ransom.
