ISLAMABAD:
The chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has convened a meeting on Monday (tomorrow) of all the directors general and deputy prosecutors general in accordance with the Supreme Court’s advice to the graft watch dog to improve its efficiency.
Sources said the meeting will discuss the supervision and examination system of the bureau. NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry has advised all authorities concerned to implement all the directives of the top court in letter and spirit.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry had earlier requested Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Vice-Chancellor Dr Sohail Naqvi to help devise a supervision and examination system. A team of LUMS experts will visit NAB headquarters to conduct a survey for the monitoring system.
