BANNU:
Federal Minister for Housing and Works Akram Khan Durrani has announced the tripartite alliance of opposition parties in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has been formed to thwart the implementation of a western agenda in the country. He was speaking at a meeting in Chakdadan, Bannu on Saturday. “The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is promoting practices which are objectionable to us,” he said.
“The alliance of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Pakistan Peoples Party and Awami National Party will not let it succeed in achieving this purpose.”
The JUI-F leader also criticised the PTI for dealing a critical blow to the country’s economy through its sit-ins in Islamabad. “China was willing to help Pakistan tackle the energy crisis,” he said. “However, China’s president was forced to cancel his visit due to the sit-ins.”
According to Durrani, the federal government is once again in contact with the government of China to deal with the power crisis.
