LG polls: Final list of candidates today
About 159 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for 10 seats
Returning officers will issue the final list of candidates contesting local bodies’ elections in Rawalpindi and Chaklala cantonment boards. The elections will be held on a party-basis and 264 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for the April 25 local bodies elections. About 159 candidates have submitted their nomination papers for 10 seats in the Rawalpindi Cantonment Board while 105 candidates have filed their nomination papers for 10 seats in the Chaklala Cantonment. The list of the contesting candidates with allotted symbols will be issued on April 11 while polling will be held on April 25.
