Transparent election: Pasban welcomes Rangers’ deployment
Party leaders says the decision to deploy Rangers outside and inside polling stations is a welcome development
KARACHI:
Pasban-e-Pakistan secretary-general and the party’s candidate for the NA-246 by-election Usman Moazzam said that the decision to deploy Rangers outside and inside the polling stations on the day of the by-polls is a welcome development as free and fair election is the only answer to the problems of Karachi.
Talking to different delegations in connection with his polling campaign on Friday, he said that the role of the Rangers deployed at the polling stations should be to provide security and to ensure free, fair and transparent election. He assured the delegations that Pasban will raise its voice in the assemblies regarding issues such as unemployment, load-shedding, inflation, lawlessness and lack of educational facilities. According to him, Pasban is running its election campaign with responsibility and civility.
