Joint ventures : UBL, EFU enter distribution alliance

EFU Life Assurance Ltd and UBL have entered into a distribution alliance for EFU Life’s Window Family Takaful Products under a dedicated brand “Hemayah”. The signing ceremony was held at UBL Head Office Karachi and the agreement was signed by EFU CEO and MD Taher G Sachak and EFU Executive Director Mohammed Ali Ahmed. The ceremony was attended by other senior officials of both organisations. Speaking on the occasion Sachak said, “The start of Bancatakaful gives us a further opportunity to expand our product menu and offer more options to UBL customers for their long term financial planning needs.” UBL Ameen Group Head Islamic Banking Muhammad Imran said, “UBL Ameen is on its way to become Pakistan’s major player in the Islamic banking industry.”
