Shoot-out: Four more militants killed

Four men allegedly affiliated with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed by the police on Wednesday evening, hours after 10 others, including a Karachi-based commander, were killed in an encounter with the Rangers.
Malir SSP Rao Anwar told The Express Tribune that Zubair had also been injured in a drone attack in the Shawal valley of North Waziristan. He was also involved in the killing of two personnel of the armed forces. SHO Sohail Awan said the bodies of the deceased militants were shifted to Edhi morgue after medico-legal formalities were completed at Jinnah hospital. Two hand grenades and three pistols were also recovered from their possession.

The police conducted a raid on a tip-off at the militants' hideout in Ali Muhammad Goth near Super Highway, Sohrab Goth. According to the police, the deceased militants belonged to the Mullah Fazalullah group. One of them was identified as Qari Zubair, who was said to be a hard-core militant.
