Imran Shahzad continued his winning run in the IBSF World Amateur Snooker Championship after he upstaged Faaris Khan of South Africa 4-1 in Damascus, Syria.
Pakistan’s top cueist Imran won the first frame 67-40 and was in even better touch in the second as he won 95-8. Imran had earlier beaten Australia’s Vinnie Calabrese 4-2 in his first outing of the championship.
