Traffic SP Abdur Rahim Shirazi said on Tuesday that lack of traffic discipline caused more fatalities than terrorism.

He was speaking at a walk organised to raise public awareness regarding the need to follow traffic rules in DG Khan. Shirazi said it was imperative to follow traffic laws to prevent any untoward incident. He said the need to do this must be impressed upon students as they could play a pivotal role in raising public awareness regarding this. The efficiency of the traffic management system could be used to gauge national development and progress.

Shirazi ordered DSP Khalid Qureshi to ensure that people did not remove silencers from motorcycles.
