An 18-year-old girl was raped by six men on Tuesday.
The girl’s mother said her daughter had earlier been kidnapped from her home. “Muzaffar, a resident of Chak 181 Hasilpur tehsil, and his five unidentified accomplices abducted my daughter.
They took her to a secluded place and raped her there. She was then abandoned in a park near Gattwala,” she said.
Passers by saw the girl and alerted Rescue 1122 who took her to the district headquarters hospital. Doctors treating her said she was in critical condition.
Jhang Bazaar SHO Muhammad Sarfraz said that police had arrested a suspect.
