Pakistan has an important role in dismantling the tension and has been holding joint session of Parliament for the last two days to reach consensus on whether or not it should provide military assistance to Saudi Arabia, and devise a strategy for reconciliation between the countries involved in the offensive.

Pakistan also agreed with Turkey to launch shuttle diplomacy as both have been making efforts to resolve the crisis by diplomatic means.

Leaders around the world fear that an escalation in the war will only divide the Muslim world and result in the loss of men and material.

Jibran | 9 years ago | Reply Pakistan has missed the initiative. Poor negotiation skills, lack of clarity, and love of Saudis clouded Nawaz Sharif to kickstart any serious efforts. He told Saudis one thing, Turks a different thing, and Pakistani people a totally opposite thing. Who could trust such a person?
Raj - USA | 9 years ago | Reply But, is Saudi Arabia going to stop attacking Yemen? This is the real question. If Saudis do not stop their war on Yemen, it would be very clear to us as who should be blamed and all countries must stop supporting Saudi Arabia and GCC countries.
