Terrorism: National Action Plan being implemented, says IGP
3,396 cases had been registered, 3,336 suspects arrested, 3,124 challans submitted and 768 suspects convicted

Police are doing their best to implement the decisions of Apex Committees concerning the National Action Plan against terrorism, IGP Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera said on Monday.
He was informed that 368 cases had been registered, 344 accused arrested, 252 challans submitted and 113 suspects have been convicted for violating the Prohibition of Expressing Matters on Walls (Amendment) Ordinance, 1995. The IGP was told that 2,420 cases had been registered and 3,351 suspects arrested for violating the Information of Temporary Residents Ordinance, 2015.
