ISLAMABAD:
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday that the formation of a judicial commission to probe rigging allegations in the 2013 elections will benefit Pakistan and strengthen its democratic system, Express News reported.

Addressing the media outside the National Assembly in Islamabad, he said since the elections were rigged, relevant authorities should have conducted an investigation into the matter.

"All political parties agree that the 2013 elections were rigged, " the PTI chairman claimed. "If rigging is proved, people will be exposed, " he added.

On April 2, the PTI and the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) formally signed an agreement paving way for the formation of a judicial commission through a presidential decree to investigate allegations of massive rigging in the 2013 general elections.
