Hazardous job: Two BDS officials laid to rest

Two bomb disposal squad (BDS) technicians, who were killed defusing a roadside bomb on Saturday, were laid to rest in their native areas. A large number of people participated in funeral prayers. These officials were martyred while clearing a route for troops in a restive tribal region near the Afghan border. “The BDS officials were clearing the route for troop movement in the Barwand area of South Waziristan, when an improvised explosive device went off, killing both of them,” officials said.
